Books, Magazines and Fabric:
Block pattern books from Lois R.’s stash was offered to members today.
A large assortment of fat quarters was made available today donated by Beth D.
At the Sep. 12 Town Hall Sit & Sew at 10:00 AM, Lois R’s unmeasured, unsorted fabrics will be available to membersby the bag.
Comfort Quilts: 27 quilts were collected today for donation.
Stuffed animals are still welcome for donation to Bivona Child Advocacy Center along with comfort quilts.

The completed “Jackie’s Challenge” projects were presented. Photos will be on the website.
The calendar for the upcoming year from Sep 2023 – June2024 was distributed and is on the website.

10/24/2023 Sashiko Class at Town Hall. Pre-order kits $25.00
10/31/23 Book Pillow class by Pat W. at Jackie Lynn’s – requires 3 – 18” squares. Completed pillows are to be donated to Bivona C.A.C.
Monthly Project: completed projects earn ½ yard fabric from the fabric basket.
-September Project due in October is to embellish a set of 2 dish towels with a quilt border of any theme.

Retreat: Oct. 2,3 &4 at Notre Dame Retreat House in Canandaigua. A sign up list was circulated. Notre Dame is under new management. The cost is $190.00 single, $160.00 shared room and $95.00 for one day/night. Payment due in 2 weeks.
Sit and Sews: Sit & Sews at the Town Hall are free; Jackie Lynn’s when available for $5.00 per person. Remaining dates through Sep. are:

Hobby House Needleworks on State St. in Pittsford 2 shops with all things needlework and good selection of quilt fabrics.
Around The Block on Main St. in Palmyra a new quilt shop. 3 yard bundles on sale for $18.00
