Bus Trip Coordinator is now consolidated with Program Committee. Due to expense of bus rentals any trips will be car pooled going forward.
Phone Tree is eliminated, it was determined to be nonessential.
Scholarship funds are still available for members to attend non-club classes and workshops. Scholarship Application and Criteria are available on the website. Recipients agree to show completed projects and/or share information and skills learned.
Retreat: The next retreat is Oct. 21- 23, 2024. A sign-up list was circulated today. Details are available on the website.
New Business
Name Tags- Please wear your name tag during meetings It facilitates networking among members and acts as a memory jog.
Jackie V. gave news of Marcia G. who is seriously ill at Strong Memorial Hospital. She has greatly appreciated well wishes and support from family and friends. Cards of encouragement can be sent to Marcia c/o Jackie or directly to the hospital.
The Henrietta Public Library has offered the opportunity for the club to decorate a display case in the library for December. Julie C. will coordinate it.
The Henrietta Public Library has made it clear that there are to be no sales conducted at the library. Any funds collected are donations or exchanges and will be referred to as such. Books and magazines will be available in alternating months.
Books, Magazines: Kathy R. will offer books and magazines at alternating meetings. If members choose items offered, free will donations to the library may be collected.
Fabrics: There was discussion regarding fabric offering in the future and methods of collecting donations. This will be determined at a future meeting.
Comfort Quilts: Villa of Hope has not responded to offers of quilts. Hillside Children’s Center will be substituted. Age range 10 years and up.
31 quilts were collected today. Labels are available from Carol M or Marlene C.
Chris B. has batting available for comfort quilts. Please contact her with size needed and arrange for pick up at a meeting or Sit & Sew.
Membership: new directories were distributed today.

At today’s meeting the “Paint Chip Challenge” was launched; a bag of paint color chips was distributed for members to draw for the challenge. Sign-up sheets were also passed for the Pot Holder Swap and the Tea Bag Holder class.
