Treasurer: No report. Scholarships are still available. The required form and guidelines are online. Scholarship recipients agree to share information on techniques learned during an HQC meeting.

Historian: Club history has been formatted and is stored on line. Julie C. has also stored club history items and photos from Ginny S.
Comfort Quilts: Carol M. read a thank you card received from the N.I.C.U at Strong Memorial in appreciation for 12 quilts received last month. More donations will be distributed before the next meeting. Carol M. and Marlene C. will retire as coordinators as of June 2026. Monica M. has volunteered to co-chair at that time and another co-chair will be needed. Notify Jean O. to volunteer.
12 quilts were collected today.
Donation sites and size requirements are on the website. Labels, Batting and Backing are also available. Give required sizes to Chris B. to complete your comfort quilts.
Sunshine Committee: Zoe S. reports that ‘Get Well’ cards have been sent to Sandra A. and Donna G.
Books, Magazines: Kathy R. reports that the Hamlin Library has donated a large selection of books to the club and are available today along with other patterns and magazines.
Fabric Sales: the scrap exchange was held today.
Holiday Charity: Jean M. collected 6 bags of food, diapers, and $315 for Foodlink Rochester to be delivered tomorrow.
Holiday Luncheon: Jane M. announced we are confirmed 12/9/2026 at 11:30 at RIT Inn and Conference Center-Cayuga Room, 5257 W. Henrietta Rd. There will be a gift exchange; bring a gift and receive one.
Sit & Sews Sit and Sews are scheduled at Jackie Lynne’s from 11:00 to 4:00 ($5 fee applies). The Town Hall is booked through April 2026 Except Feb 17, 2026 it will be held in the Gabaldon Rm at the Library.
Picnic: Volunteers are needed to coordinate. Bushman Cabin has been reserved for 6/9/2026.
New Business: Thank you note was received from FISH/RHAFT Henrietta Food Cupboard for donations received last month.
Volunteers are still needed for Co-Presidents, Program Committee Coordinator, Picnic Coordinator, Fabric Sales and Comfort Quilt Coordinator for the next term starting June 2026. Contact Jean O. to volunteer.
Committee chairpersons are asked to submit a summary of duties to Jean O. for storage on the website.
Program: a “Towel Exchange” took place today, embellished towels were exchange by 16 members who participated.
Changes to program schedule due to Library schedule changes are:
Feb 10 – Game Day with CHOCOLATE, 12:30-2:30 at the Library
Feb 17 – Sit & Sew at Gabaldon Rm of the library or Jackie Lynn’s
The seasonal projects discussed at the last meeting.
The Queen Bee Groups met today to turn in month one blocks and discuss their next block color, pattern and assembly plan going forward. Finished quilt from the blocks for donation will be due at the Business Meeting in June.
Jan. 6,2026 will be the launch of the UFO challenge.
