Books, Magazines and Fabric:
A large assortment of magazines referencing historical subjects as well as several quilting stencils were made available today.
More books are to come at future meetings.
Comfort Quilts: 8 quilts were collected today for donation.
20 quilts were donated to Catholic Family Charities for asylum seekers. Labels for comfort quilts are still available. Stuffed animals and comfort quilts are still welcome for donation.
Sandra A. reports that 250 labels will be delivered soon. Labels for the Comfort Quilts have been supplied by Lori V. These will be the last that she is able to make for the club. The club will acknowledge her long-time gift of labels with a card. A new label maker is sought.

Program: The completed November project to complete “A Splash of Color” fall table runner, completed projects still pending.
The completed Book Pillows from the 10/31 class will be turned in for donation at the December 5th meeting.

Monthly Projects: completed projects earn ½ yard fabric from the fabric basket.
Christmas table runner (or placemat/wall-hanging). Find a pattern that includes wrapped gift blocks or use the pattern on the website for “Night of Nutcracker -Wrap Up”. Due at Dec. 5 meeting

Retreat:
Future Retreat Dates: April 29,30 & May 1- 2024. Oct. 21 to 23 – 2024. April 28 to 30- 2025.
Holiday Luncheon: will be held at the RIT Inn & Conference Center on 12/12/2023 at 11:30 AM, $20.00 (HQC is partially subsidizing lunch and dessert). Sign up list was passed around today; the last day to register is the meeting on Dec. 5, see Patty Z.
Holiday Donation: A generous donation of items was delivered to Open Door Mission. The gifts of items from their Wishlist was much appreciated.
In addition, the completed book pillows with books will be donated to Bivona C.A.C. Deadline for donation is at the December 5th meeting.
Sit and Sews / Meetings etc: Sit and Sews at the Town Hall are free; Jackie Lynn’s when available for $5.00 per person. Remaining dates through Dec. are:

Sales and Shows and Shops:
The Quilt Farm in Boston, NY will be adding AirBnB to the business in the house on the property for retreats or short stays. Stay tuned.
