Annual Picnic Committee

Purpose:
Plan and coordinate the club’s annual picnic as a fun, social event that builds community among members.

Responsibilities:

  • Select picnic date, location, and format (indoor/outdoor as needed)
  • Plan menu, refreshments, and serving arrangements
  • Organize setup, cleanup, and event logistics
  • Coordinate games, activities, or optional quilting-related fun
  • Communicate event details to members
  • Manage budget and supply needs with Treasurer

Skills:
Organized, creative, good communication, able to coordinate logistics

Time Commitment:

  • Planning begins several weeks/months before event
  • Light coordination leading up to and day-of event

Holiday Party Committee

Purpose:
Plan and coordinate the club’s annual holiday celebration to promote fellowship and enjoyment among members.

Responsibilities:

  • Select date, venue, and format of celebration
  • Plan food, refreshments, and/or any potluck coordination
  • Organize decorations and holiday theme
  • Plan entertainment, games, or activities
  • Arrange setup and cleanup
  • Communicate event details to membership
  • Coordinate budget and supplies with Treasurer

Skills:
Organized, creative, detail-oriented, good communication

Time Commitment:

  • Planning begins several weeks/months in advance
  • Increased activity closer to event date
