Retreat Coordinator | Henrietta Quilt Club

Role Overview:
Plan and host our two annual retreats (Spring and Fall). You create the space for our members to relax, sew, and bond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan Two Events: Organize the venue, sleeping rooms, and sewing space for our twice-a-year getaways.
  • Manage Money: Work with the Treasurer to collect fees and pay event bills.
  • Organize Food: Coordinate meals and snacks for the group.
  • Setup the Room: Make sure there are enough tables, chairs, and power outlets for everyone’s machines.
  • Lead the Fun: Create the daily schedule and be the “go-to” person during the retreat.

Skills Needed:

  • Good at Details: You can keep track of sign-ups and deadlines.
  • Helpful Attitude: You enjoy making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
  • Team Player: You are comfortable communicating with the Treasurer and the Board.
